TEHRAN: Iran has reportedly resumed limited production of ballistic missiles using components that were already in storage, according to reports citing US and Middle Eastern intelligence assessments.
The missiles are reportedly being assembled at underground facilities and in smaller quantities than before the war. The move could help Iran rebuild part of its missile stockpile after earlier US and Israeli strikes damaged several military and industrial facilities.
At the same time, Iranian attacks have reportedly caused damage to US military assets. At Jordan’s Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, one US A-10 aircraft reportedly lost a wing, while around eight F-15 fighter jets suffered lighter damage.
The developments show that the conflict remains active, with Iran trying to maintain its missile capabilities while continuing attacks against US linked military targets.
The reported intelligence assessment about Iran’s renewed missile production has not been independently verified publicly and the exact scale of production remains unclear.
