Saudi Arabia has called for restraint and warned that continued attacks in the Gulf region could push the Middle East toward greater instability, amid rising tensions involving Iran and several regional countries.
In a statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom strongly condemned what it described as Iranian attacks and violations of the sovereignty of Bahrain and Kuwait, saying such actions pose a threat to both regional and international security.
Saudi Arabia said that continued attacks would lead to further escalation, undermine diplomatic efforts aimed at restoring peace, and increase the risk of a broader regional conflict. The Kingdom stressed that maintaining security and stability in the Gulf remains a priority.
The statement also reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait, expressing full support for any measures taken by the two countries to safeguard their sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.
The warning comes at a time of heightened tensions across the Middle East, with concerns growing over the possibility that ongoing hostilities could disrupt global energy markets, shipping routes and regional stability.
Several Gulf countries have echoed calls for de-escalation, urging all parties to exercise restraint and pursue diplomatic solutions to prevent the conflict from expanding further.
Analysts note that any widening of the conflict could have significant implications not only for regional security but also for the global economy, particularly through potential disruptions to oil supplies and maritime trade routes.
