The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has entered a critical phase as diplomatic efforts to end the war continue. US President Donald Trump has said he is prepared to order a halt to further military strikes on Iran if the conditions of a proposed peace agreement are successfully finalized. He stated that the objective is to prevent further escalation and create a path toward regional stability.

While discussions over a possible peace framework continue, reports indicate that Iran’s leadership is presenting a united front in defending the country against external threats. However, differences have reportedly emerged within the leadership over the long term strategy and the best way to conclude the conflict. Some officials are believed to favor continued resistance, while others support diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and avoid further damage.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian situation in Gaza remains a major concern. Many Palestinians have expressed hope that Hamas will eventually disarm if it leads to a permanent ceasefire and improved living conditions. However, there is growing concern among residents that Israeli forces may continue their military presence in parts of Gaza even if a ceasefire agreement is reached.

International mediators are continuing negotiations aimed at achieving a broader peace agreement that includes a Ceasefire, Humanitarian aid, Hostage releases and Long term security arrangements. Despite signs of diplomatic progress, several key issues remain unresolved, leaving the future of the region uncertain.
