AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi visited several Special Intensive Revision (SIR) centres in the Karwan Assembly Constituency on Monday and reviewed the ongoing voter verification process.
During his visit, Owaisi interacted with voters and enquired about the issues they were facing in connection with the SIR process.
Appealing to voters who have received SIR notices, Owaisi said there was no need to panic. He advised them to appear before the designated Hearing Centre with the required documents and submit their response to the notice through the prescribed process.
Owaisi also said that voters needing information, guidance or assistance regarding the SIR hearing process could approach the AIMIM Help Desk at Darussalam. They could also contact AIMIM leaders and party workers in their respective areas for assistance.
The AIMIM president said the party would make every possible effort to guide and assist voters during the SIR process.
Syed Mushtaq Ahmed, PA to Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, along with former corporators, party presidents, office-bearers and other party representatives, were present during the visit.
AIMIM said its objective is to ensure that the names of genuine voters are not removed from the Final Electoral Roll and that eligible voters receive necessary assistance during the SIR process.
