Bahadurpura Police have successfully solved a wife murder case and arrested the accused husband, Sulaiman Sayeed alias Suleman (32), a resident of Kishan Bagh, Hyderabad, within a short span of the offence.
The deceased, Nishad Fatima (30), was allegedly murdered by her husband following prolonged marital discord arising from his suspicion regarding her character and disputes over her visits to her parental home.
According to the investigation, the accused had been harbouring resentment and suspicion towards his wife despite previous mediation efforts through Lok Adalat proceedings aimed at resolving the couple’s differences.
Police stated that on June 7, 2026, following a domestic argument, the accused allegedly attacked his wife with a kitchen knife while she was asleep, resulting in her death. He subsequently attempted to destroy evidence and fled from the scene to evade arrest.
Based on the complaint received, Bahadurpura Police registered a case and launched an intensive investigation. Through sustained field enquiries, intelligence gathering, and analysis of technical evidence, the investigating team successfully traced the accused and took him into custody.
The case was detected by Sri V. Madhan Lal, Detective Inspector, Sri G. Ambedkar, Sub-Inspector, and the staff of Bahadurpura Police Station, under the guidance of Sri M.A. Javeed, ACP, Falaknuma Division.
Senior police officials appreciated the officers and staff involved in the investigation for their prompt response, professional approach, and effective efforts in solving the case swiftly.
The incident highlights the tragic consequences of unresolved domestic disputes and underscores the importance of seeking timely intervention and support in situations involving family conflict.
