AIMIM Maharashtra President and former Member of Parliament Imtiaz Jaleel held a crucial meeting with newly elected corporators at Treat Imperial on Tuesday. The meeting comes in the backdrop of the party’s improved performance in the recent municipal elections across Maharashtra.
During the interaction, Imtiaz Jaleel congratulated the corporators on their electoral success and urged them to work with dedication, discipline, and transparency while serving the public. He emphasized that AIMIM’s growing presence in civic bodies reflects people’s trust and expectations, which must be upheld through responsible governance.
Sources said the meeting focused on post election strategy, coordination among corporators and strengthening the party’s organizational structure at the municipal level. Discussions were also held on addressing key civic issues such as Basic infrastructure, Sanitation, Water supply, Education and Minority welfare.
Imtiaz Jaleel advised the corporators to remain accessible to citizens and raise public concerns effectively in municipal councils. He stressed that AIMIM’s representatives should act as a strong voice for marginalized communities while ensuring development oriented politics.
