Trump Says US Has “Very Good Chance” of Iran Nuclear Deal

US-Iran Talks Gain

U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States has a “Very good chance” of reaching a nuclear agreement with Iran amid growing tensions in the Middle East.

Trump made the remarks after confirming that a planned U.S. military strike on Iran had been delayed to allow more time for diplomatic negotiations. Reports suggest several Gulf nations encouraged Washington to continue talks instead of escalating the conflict.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said he prefers a peaceful agreement over military action if Iran agrees to prevent the development of nuclear weapons. He described the ongoing discussions as “very positive” but warned that the U.S. military remains prepared if negotiations fail.

According to reports, Iran recently sent a revised proposal through Pakistan as indirect talks between the two countries continue. Tehran is reportedly seeking sanctions relief, access to frozen funds, and guarantees related to regional security issues as part of a possible agreement.

Trump’s comments eased fears of a wider regional conflict and also affected global markets, with oil prices falling following hopes of reduced tensions in the region.

However, major disagreements remain between the two sides, especially over Iran’s uranium enrichment program and U.S. security demands. Analysts say negotiations are still fragile despite the recent optimism.
