New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the NEET-UG retest conducted for candidates who were eligible to reappear due to issues that affected the original examination. With the declaration of the revised results, more than 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for undergraduate medical admissions across the country.
The retest was held to ensure fairness and provide another opportunity to candidates impacted by examination related concerns. Following the evaluation of the retest, the NTA updated the final merit list and scorecards.
Qualified candidates can now download their revised scorecards and prepare for the next stage of the admission process, including counselling for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses under the All India Quota and State Quota.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to announce the counselling schedule soon. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official counselling notifications and keep all required documents ready for verification and seat allotment.
The NTA has stated that the revised results have been prepared after incorporating the retest scores in accordance with the prescribed evaluation process, ensuring transparency and equal opportunity for all eligible candidates.
