The Commissioner’s Task Force, Golconda team, along with Golconda Police, arrested a 23 year old man allegedly running a healthcare centre without valid medical qualifications or a required licence in Hyderabad’s Golconda area.
According to Hyderabad Police, the accused was identified as Mohd Adnan, a resident of Golconda. Police alleged that he was operating “Hikma Sehath Care Centre” near MSK Function Hall in Mohalla Gunj, along with his mother Saba Khan alias Mohammadi Begum and brother Mohd Faizan, who are currently absconding.
Police said Adnan has an Intermediate level qualification and was allegedly presenting himself as a qualified doctor or traditional healer while treating patients for various health complaints. The police alleged that the centre provided treatment and medicines without proper labelling or valid medical qualifications.
During a raid on September 22, police seized a large quantity of unlabelled medicines and powders, prescription books and promotional material. The seized items included multiple bottles and packets containing powders marked with handwritten codes.
Police also alleged that the accused promoted the centre and related activities through Facebook, Instagram and promotional content published through SACH NEWS.
According to the police, Adnan had earlier worked as supportive medical staff at the centre and later allegedly began treating patients with the assistance of his mother and brother. Police said the family claimed an ancestral association with traditional healing practices.
A case has been registered at Golconda Police Station under Crime No. 356/2026 under Sections 318(4), 125 read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Inspector M. Mahesh of the Commissioner’s Task Force, Golconda Zone, by SI G. Vijayanand and teams from the Task Force and Golconda Police.
The allegations in the case are based on the police investigation, and further legal proceedings will determine the charges against the accused.
