Health authorities in Telangana have intensified surveillance after a passenger arriving from Sudan was identified as having a possible Ebola related travel or medical history during routine screening at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA). The passenger was detected during enhanced health checks that have been implemented following global concerns over the ongoing Ebola outbreak in parts of Africa. infected with the virus. the country, including Hyderabad, have strengthened thermal screening, health declarations and monitoring of travelers arriving from high risk countries. reiterated that the overall risk remains low, although surveillance and preparedness efforts have been intensified.
