Hyderabad Traffic Police, in collaboration with Tarak Trust, organized a road safety awareness and helmet distribution drive at NTR Junction under the “Arrive Alive” campaign. The initiative aimed to encourage responsible driving habits and improve road safety among two-wheeler riders.

The event was led by Sri K. Hari Prasad, ACP, Traffic Jubilee Hills Zone and Sri K. Sunil, SHO, Traffic Police Station, Banjara Hills. During the programme, 200 ISI marked helmets were distributed free of cost to motorcyclists as part of the awareness campaign.

Police officials urged commuters to wear helmets at all times, follow traffic rules, avoid using mobile phones while driving and ensure that minors do not operate vehicles. They also highlighted the importance of responsible road behaviour to reduce accidents and save lives.

The campaign received a positive response from the public, with many appreciating the initiative and participating in the road safety awareness programme.

Hyderabad Traffic Police said such awareness drives will continue as part of their ongoing efforts to promote safer roads and encourage citizens to adopt responsible driving practices.
