The Cyber Crime Police of Hyderabad City have successfully arrested three accused Madathala Ramesh Reddy, Gandi Srinu and Gurrapukonda Sridhar all residents of Andhra Pradesh, for their involvement in multiple online investment scam cases registered under Crime Nos. 362/2025, 867/2025 and 1328/2025.
According to officials, the accused provided their Bank Accounts to organized cyber criminal networks that operated fake investment schemes on social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram, deceiving victims across India and swindling them of several lakhs of rupees.
During the investigation, police seized mobile phones, debit cards and other digital devices used in the commission of the crime. The arrests were made under the supervision of Sri Siva Maruthi, ACP, Cyber Crime, Hyderabad and Inspector S. Naresh.
Authorities said that the accused were part of a wider cyber network that targeted investors by promising unrealistic profits through fraudulent platforms that mimicked legitimate investment apps and companies.

- Do not share personal or Banking Details with unknown persons.
- Beware of unrealistic profit promises made through WhatsApp or Telegram groups.
