New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has announced a new initiative titled ‘Satyagraha’, aimed at bringing together people across India who are raising concerns about injustice and fighting for their rights.
In his message, Gandhi highlighted the struggles of various sections of society, including Gen Z, students, farmers, Adivasis, Dalits and women. He stated that many individuals are compelled to fight for their rights alone, and that individual voices can often go unheard or be suppressed.
Referring to Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings, Rahul Gandhi emphasised the importance of truth and collective unity in standing against injustice.
The initiative seeks to provide a common platform for people to share their experiences and struggles. According to the announcement, the objective is to amplify public voices from local communities to Parliament.
Rahul Gandhi has invited individuals facing or challenging injustice to share their personal stories through the ‘Satyagraha’ initiative.
