Patna Students Rally Behind Khan Sir as Police Probe Coaching Centre Attack

Patna Students Rally Behind Khan Sir Coaching Centre

Hundreds of students gathered outside Khan Global Studies Institute in Patna to express support for popular educator Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, following a violent incident at the coaching center that has sparked a police investigation.

The controversy began after a group of individuals allegedly vandalised the institute near Musallahpur Haat in Patna. CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts indicated that stones were thrown at the premises and a security guard was injured during the incident.

Following the attack, a large number of students assembled outside the institute, raising slogans demanding justice and stronger security measures for students and staff. Heavy police deployment was made in the area to prevent any escalation of tensions.

Police subsequently arrested three individuals, including the director of another coaching institute, in connection with the attack. Authorities said they were examining whether rivalry between coaching centers may have played a role in the incident.

Initially, there were reports of firing outside the institute. However, after reviewing CCTV footage, police stated that they could not immediately confirm these claims. Khan Sir later clarified that the investigation should establish the exact sequence of events.

In a separate development, Khan Sir’s lawyer said that the educator would seek anticipatory bail rather than surrender in court, as legal proceedings related to the case continue.
