The Adibatla Police, along with the Crime Team and CCS Zonal Crime Team, have successfully cracked multiple property offence cases in separate operations, leading to the arrest of three accused involved in house burglaries and vehicle thefts. Police also recovered stolen gold, silver, vehicles, and other valuables worth several lakhs.
In the first operation, police arrested Mukesh Choudary (35), a native of Rajasthan, in connection with a house burglary case registered at Adibatla Police Station. During interrogation, the accused confessed to his involvement in seven house burglary cases, including two in Adibatla, four in Hayath Nagar, and one in Kushaiguda.
Police recovered 3 tulas of gold ornaments, 30 tulas of silver ornaments, one mobile phone, and a Hero Glamour motorcycle from his possession. The total value of the recovered property is estimated at around ₹6.5 lakh.
According to police, Mukesh Choudary is a habitual offender with involvement in 17 previous criminal cases. He had also been detained earlier under the Preventive Detention (PD) Act.
In a separate operation, Adibatla Police, along with the CCS Crime Team, arrested Syed Qasim Hussain (18) and Mohammed Kareem (19) for their alleged involvement in multiple two-wheeler theft cases across Hyderabad and neighbouring areas. Another accused in the case is currently absconding.
During the investigation, the accused confessed to stealing motorcycles and scooters from different police station limits. Police recovered five stolen two-wheelers, including Honda Activa and Dio scooters and a Pulsar NS motorcycle. The recovered vehicles were linked to theft cases registered in Adibatla, Chanda Nagar, Ghatkesar, Choutuppal, and Jeedimetla police station limits.
Police said efforts are underway to trace the absconding accused and recover additional stolen property.
The operations were conducted under the supervision of senior Hyderabad Police officials, including the Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes), DCP Shamshabad Zone, ACP Adibatla Division, and officers of the Adibatla Crime Team and CCS Zonal Crime Team.
Hyderabad Police also advised citizens to enhance the security of their homes and vehicles by installing CCTV cameras, burglar alarms, strong locking systems, and GPS trackers. Residents have also been urged to inform local police before leaving home for extended periods and to report suspicious activities immediately by calling 112.
