Two IAF Pilots Killed in Su-30MKI Fighter Jet Crash During Mission

Two pilots of the Indian Air Force were killed after a Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter aircraft crashed during a mission.

According to defence officials, the aircraft went down while carrying out an operational sortie. Rescue teams were rushed to the crash site, but both pilots on board were confirmed dead.

Authorities said the cause of the crash is not yet known. The Air Force has ordered a detailed investigation to determine what led to the accident. Technical teams will examine the wreckage and flight data as part of the probe.

The Su-30MKI is one of the most advanced fighter jets in the Indian Air Force fleet and plays a key role in India’s air defence capability.

The Indian Air Force expressed condolences to the families of the pilots and said all necessary support would be provided to them.
