A major fire broke out late Saturday night in the temple town of Kondagattu destroying nearly 20 shops and causing significant property loss. The incident occurred near the Kondagattu hill area close to the busy bus stop on the Jagtial Karimnagar main road.
According to officials the blaze began suddenly near a cluster of toy shops and rapidly spread due to the presence of highly flammable materials. Firefighters rushed to the scene and worked swiftly to bring the fire under control preventing it from spreading to nearby areas.
Authorities confirmed that no casualties were reported. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be identified and a detailed investigation has been initiated to determine how the incident started.
Local traders have expressed concern over the heavy losses and urged the government for immediate support and rehabilitation measures.
