Jakarta: Indonesia has temporarily suspended operations at six airports after volcanic ash from Mount Anak Krakatau affected nearby airspace and created safety concerns for flights.
The eruption sent a large ash cloud into the atmosphere. Authorities closed airports as a precaution and are closely monitoring the movement of the volcanic ash.

- Pondok Cabe Airport

- Husein Sastranegara Airport in Bandung
The closure of Soekarno Hatta, Indonesia’s largest airport, has disrupted a large number of domestic and international flights. Several flights have been cancelled or diverted.
