Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force, Jubilee Hills Zone Team, in coordination with the local police, arrested three habitual house breaking offenders and one receiver of stolen property in a major operation. Police also recovered stolen property worth approximately ₹12 lakh.

According to the police, the accused were involved in a series of house breaking and theft cases across multiple Commissionerates. The gang was allegedly led by Derangula Hari Babu alias Nani, who was released from jail in June 2026. Investigators said he regrouped with his associates after his release and resumed committing house breaking and property offences.

The accused are allegedly linked to 11 recent cases registered at Gowraram, Sangareddy Town, Pocharam IT Corridor, Nagole, Kushaiguda, Medipally, Vanasthalipuram, and Suraram police stations.

During the operation, police seized 80 grams of gold ornaments, 258 grams of silver ornaments, four mobile phones, two motorcycles and house breaking tools. The total value of the recovered property is estimated at ₹12 lakh.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of Inspector Ch. Yadender of the West Zone Task Force and Sub-Inspector D. Ravi Raj of the Jubilee Hills Zone Task Force, along with their respective teams.

Police said further investigation is underway to determine the gang’s involvement in other property offences and to identify any additional associates connected to the crimes.
