Hyderabad: In a heartwarming example of honesty and civic responsibility, a delivery rider in Hyderabad returned ₹20,000 in cash that he found near an ATM, instead of keeping it for himself.
The incident took place on Thursday evening in Himayathnagar, where Vikram, a delivery rider employed with EV91 Technologies and working for Ratnadeep Super Market, discovered ₹20,000 lying near an ATM.
Without hesitation, Vikram approached the Narayanguda Police Station and handed over the cash to the Sub-Inspector. The money has been kept in safe custody while police make efforts to trace and return it to its rightful owner.
Hyderabad City Police commended Vikram for his exemplary honesty and responsible conduct, stating that such actions strengthen public trust and encourage others to uphold the values of integrity and responsible citizenship.
