US Seeks Israel’s Written Approval for New Gaza Proposal

Washington Pushes Gaza Post War Plan

The United States is reportedly seeking written approval from Israel for a new proposal concerning the future of Gaza, as the administration of President Donald Trump intensifies efforts to advance its post war strategy for the enclave while preventing another major conflict.

According to media reports, Washington has presented a draft proposal to Israeli officials and is requesting formal written confirmation of their acceptance before moving ahead with the next phase of diplomatic discussions. The proposal is said to be part of broader US efforts to establish a long-term framework for governance, reconstruction, and security in Gaza following months of conflict.

The reported initiative aims to balance Israel’s security concerns with humanitarian and political measures designed to stabilize Gaza. It also seeks to prevent a renewed outbreak of fighting that could further worsen the humanitarian situation and destabilize the wider region.

While the full details of the proposal have not been made public, reports suggest it includes provisions related to post-war administration, reconstruction efforts, humanitarian aid delivery and security arrangements. The United States is also believed to be consulting regional partners, including Arab states, to secure broader support for the plan.

Israeli officials have not publicly confirmed whether they will provide the requested written approval. Previous statements from the Israeli government have emphasized that any post war arrangement must ensure Hamas cannot re-establish military or governing control in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Palestinian representatives and several regional actors continue to insist that any long term agreement must include guarantees for Palestinian self governance, humanitarian relief and a pathway toward a broader political settlement.

The reported diplomatic effort comes as negotiations continue over a possible ceasefire and hostage-prisoner exchange, with international mediators seeking to reduce tensions and prevent further escalation in the region. No official confirmation of the reported proposal has yet been issued by either the White House or the Israeli government.
