Virat Kohli delivered a match winning performance, scoring an unbeaten 75 off 42 balls to guide Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a five wicket victory over Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2026 final.

Chasing a target of 156, RCB started confidently and remained in control throughout the innings. Kohli anchored the chase with a blend of aggression and composure, reaching his half century at a crucial stage and staying unbeaten until the winning runs were scored.

Earlier, Gujarat Titans struggled to build momentum after losing key wickets in the powerplay. Captain Shubman Gill and opener Sai Sudharsan fell early, putting pressure on the middle order. Washington Sundar played a fighting innings, scoring an unbeaten half-century to help GT post 155/8 in 20 overs.

RCB’s bowlers laid the foundation for victory with a disciplined performance. Rasikh Salam claimed three wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood picked up two wickets each.

Kohli was named Player of the Match for his unbeaten 75 as RCB successfully chased down the target and secured the IPL 2026 title.
