Shehbaz Sharif is set to begin a four-day visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey, according to Pakistan’s foreign ministry. The visit is seen as part of Islamabad’s efforts to strengthen regional ties and enhance diplomatic engagement.
The trip comes at a time when discussions are expected to resume over a possible second round of talks between the United States and Iran, making regional coordination increasingly important. Pakistan is aiming to play a constructive role by engaging with key countries in the region.
During his visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Sharif is expected to hold meetings with top leadership. Talks are likely to focus on strengthening bilateral relations, boosting economic cooperation, and addressing regional peace and security concerns.
In Turkey, the Prime Minister will participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where global and regional leaders gather to discuss major geopolitical issues. He is also scheduled to meet Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for bilateral discussions.
Officials say the visit highlights Pakistan’s focus on maintaining strong ties with key partners in the Middle East and beyond, while also contributing to ongoing efforts aimed at stability and dialogue in the region.
