Abu Dhabi: India’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates has reaffirmed that the safety and welfare of Indian nationals living in the country remain a top priority, amid ongoing efforts to strengthen support systems for the diaspora.
Speaking on the issue, the envoy highlighted the strong partnership between India and the UAE, noting that both countries maintain close coordination to ensure a secure and stable environment for expatriates. With a large Indian community residing across the UAE, authorities continue to focus on timely assistance, grievance redressal, and community outreach.
The ambassador emphasized that mechanisms are in place through the Indian mission to respond quickly to emergencies and provide necessary support to citizens. Regular engagement with community groups and local authorities also plays a key role in addressing concerns effectively.
Officials underlined that the longstanding ties between the two nations have contributed to the overall safety and well-being of Indian residents, who form one of the largest expatriate groups in the Gulf region.
