Jubilee Hills Police Nab Six Member Dacoity Gang Within 24 Hours

The Jubilee Hills Police have arrested six members of a dacoity gang including the security guard posted at the victim’s residence within 24 hours of the crime. One accused remains at large and special teams are on the hunt.

According to police, on the night of 22 November 2025, one of the accused, identified as A1 (Kilikatavali Dada Peer), along with five associates, forcefully entered the servant quarters of a residence in Road No. 23/A, Jubilee Hills. When the driver of the house resisted, they attacked him with a knife in an attempted dacoity, they fled when the driver raised the alarm.

On investigation, officers from the Clues Team and Fingerprint Bureau examined the scene and seized evidence coir ropes, a knife and bloodstains from the crime spot. On 24 November 2025, suspects A1 through A6 were taken into custody. During searches, Police recovered four knives, Coir ropes, Adhesive tape and Six mobile phones believed to have been used for planning. Confessional statements reportedly revealed a criminal conspiracy and an attempt at dacoity.

All six arrested individuals have since been remanded to judicial custody. Meanwhile, efforts continue to track down the absconding accused (A7). The Hyderabad City Police have urged citizens to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activity by calling Dial 100.
