In a strong display of proactive policing, Sri V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, personally conducted a surprise midnight patrol in the South West Zone, reinforcing his commitment to citizens safety and high quality policing standards.
Without sirens, escorts or prior intimation, the Commissioner moved silently through the city between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM, inspecting key locations under Langar Houz and Toli Chowki Police Stations and interacting directly with field officers on night duty.
Bold Move: Direct Visit to Rowdy Sheeters Residences
In a rare, hands on approach, CP Sajjanar visited the homes of several history sheeters in MD Lines, Asham Nagar and Defence Colony, personally enquiring about:
- Their current lifestyle and occupation
- Past behaviour and criminal involvement
He warned them of strict action if they attempted to return to crime, while Motivating them to live responsibly and become productive citizens a balanced approach blending enforcement with reform.
Strengthening Night Policing
During the patrol, he:
