Yemen’s armed forces said they carried out 756 military operations against Houthi positions over the past 72 hours, claiming that 2,316 Houthi fighters were killed or wounded during the operations.
The figures were announced on Sunday by Yemeni military spokesperson Brigadier General Majid Abdullah Al-Nazili. According to the military statement, the operations targeted Houthi positions and military capabilities across several fronts, including Taiz, Lahj, Al-Jawf, Marib, Al-Bayda, and other areas.
The military said the operations involved Aircraft, Drones, Snipers, Artillery and Rocket launchers. It also claimed that several military vehicles, troop carriers, missile launch platforms, weapons depots and other equipment were destroyed or disabled.
Four Iranian Experts Reportedly Killed
- Yemen’s armed forces also claimed that four Iranian experts specialising in operating and launching drones and missiles were killed in Taiz province.
- The Yemeni military described the deaths as evidence of continued Iranian support and technical assistance to the Houthi movement. This remains a claim by the Yemeni government forces and has not been independently verified.
Fighting Intensifies in Taiz
