FLORIDA: Three men from Telangana have died in a tragic road accident in Florida’s Brevard County, after the car they were travelling in reportedly veered off the road, hit a roadside tree and caught fire.
The accident occurred near Palm Bay on Tuesday local time. The three were reportedly travelling together to their part time workplace when the crash happened.
According to reports, one of the deceased has been identified as Rahul from Nizamabad district. His father, N. Haribabu, an assistant sub-inspector of police in Navipet, said Rahul had been living in the US with two other Telangana residents.
All three had reportedly travelled to the United States around three months ago for higher studies. The other two victims had not yet been formally identified when the initial reports were published.
The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) is reportedly coordinating with authorities regarding the identification and repatriation of the bodies.
The tragedy has left the victims’ families and the Telangana community in the US in deep shock.
