HYDRAA has issued a clarification after the Telangana High Court made strong remarks over the ongoing Lothukunta land dispute and ordered Army protection for the disputed property.
HYDRAA said it has no intention of violating any court order and will fully follow the directions issued by the Telangana High Court. The agency said its officers are committed to acting only within the law.
According to HYDRAA, its officials visited the disputed land only to protect government interests and maintain law and order. The agency denied that it had deliberately ignored the High Court’s orders.
The clarification came after the High Court expressed concern over allegations that HYDRAA officials had entered the disputed property despite earlier court orders. The court warned that any future violation of its directions could lead to strict legal action, including taking officials into custody if necessary.
HYDRAA also said it respects the judiciary and will cooperate with all legal proceedings. The state government has assured the High Court that its directions will be followed and that no action will be taken against the court’s orders.
