During a press briefing, Infantino described Iran as “Football crazy” and made it clear there would be no Plan B. “There is no Plan B, only Plan A: Iran’s participation” he said.

For the first time, the tournament will be hosted jointly by the United States, Canada and Mexico, with matches held across 16 cities in North America.
