The Commissioner’s Task Force (Jubilee Hills Zone Team), in coordination with Banjara Hills Police, recovered 1.028 kg of stolen gold ornaments and arrested two siblings involved in a major house breaking and theft case.
According to police, the case was registered at Banjara Hills Police Station under Crime No. 648/2026. The accused allegedly exploited one of their employment positions at a jewellery export company to plan and execute the theft.
Police said the siblings first conducted reconnaissance of the premises before carrying out the burglary during the night. They allegedly switched off the building’s power supply, entered the office by breaking a bathroom grill and stole gold ornaments kept inside the office locker. The stolen jewellery was later concealed by the second accused.
Following a detailed investigation using CCTV footage, technical evidence, and other leads, the Jubilee Hills Zone Task Force and Banjara Hills Police tracked down and arrested both accused at Mangalhat in Hyderabad.
The police recovered the entire stolen property intact, including seven gold necklaces and seven pairs of gold earrings, weighing a total of 1 kg 28.59 grams (1.028 kg).
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Sri G. Vaibhav Raghunath, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad.
