The Telangana government has approved the recruitment of 5,000 police personnel to strengthen the state’s law enforcement system and improve public safety. The decision was taken after a review of vacancies across various police departments, with the Finance Department issuing the necessary approval orders.
The recruitment process will be conducted by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) through direct recruitment. The vacancies are expected to include key posts such as Police Constables, Sub-Inspectors and other police cadres based on departmental requirements.
Before issuing the recruitment notification, the recruitment board has been directed to collect cadre wise vacancy details, reservation roster points, educational qualifications and other required information from the Home Department and the Director General of Police (DGP). Once this process is completed, the official notification and examination schedule will be announced.
The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies created by retirements and strengthen the police force across Telangana. It is also expected to provide a major employment opportunity for thousands of candidates preparing for government jobs in the state.
Officials have advised aspiring candidates to wait for the official recruitment notification, which will include details on the number of Posts, Eligibility criteria, Application dates, Selection process and Examination schedule.
