The Delhi Police Crime Branch has cracked down on a major international arms trafficking racket that reportedly had support from Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. The network used drones to smuggle weapons into India and supplied them to criminal gangs across the Delhi NCR region.

Arrests & Seizures

  • Four operatives arrested from Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
  • Weapons seized: 10 high end foreign pistols and 92 live cartridges.
  • The cache included Turkiye made PX-5.7 pistols used by special forces and China made PX-3 guns.
  • The weapons were transported in a speaker box with a hidden duffle bag compartment.

How the Racket Worked

  • Arms were dropped by drones near the India Pakistan border at night.
  • Packages were wrapped in carbon paper to avoid detection.
  • Operations were coordinated through encrypted communication.
  • Money was routed through hawala networks and fake accounts.
  • Local handlers collected and distributed the weapons to targeted gangs.
  • The module was supplying weapons to criminal networks in Delhi NCR, including gangs linked to Lawrence Bishnoi, Gogi, Bambiha, and Himanshu Bhau.
  • The racket is suspected to have ties with a gangster currently operating from the U.S.

Police Statement

Officials stated that the arrested operatives are part of a Highly coordinated international network and further arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
