AIMIM to Support INDIA Bloc’s Vice Presidential Candidate

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has announced that his party will support the INDIA bloc’s nominee, Justice B. Sudershan Reddy, in the September 9 vice-presidential election.

Owaisi said that the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office had reached out to him requesting AIMIM’s support. In a statement, he described Justice Reddy as “a fellow Hyderabadi and a respected jurist” and added that he has already conveyed his best wishes.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy thanked Owaisi for extending support to Justice Reddy, calling it a step taken in the larger national interest.
