Dangerous Bike Stunts Near Lumbini Park

In a crackdown on reckless driving, Saifabad Police arrested two youths for performing dangerous bike stunts and creating public nuisance near Lumbini Park and the Telangana Secretariat in Hyderabad.

The accused, identified as Mohammed Akeel (19), a courier worker from Musheerabad, and Mohammed Ateeq (22), a private employee from Nampally, were allegedly carrying out risky stunts on busy public roads to gain attention on social media. Their actions reportedly caused panic among commuters and posed a serious safety threat in the high security Secretariat area.

Acting on a tip off and sustained surveillance, police conducted an operation and apprehended the duo. Authorities also seized their motorcycles and mobile phones used to record the stunt videos. Both individuals have been sent to judicial remand.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of SHO A. Seethaiah, with Investigating Officer V. Parameshwari and a team of police personnel.

Police have issued a stern warning, stating that strict action will be taken against anyone engaging in such hazardous activities that endanger public safety.
