The Telangana government is gearing up to host a high level tourism conclave aimed at attracting major investment and forging partnerships under its newly announced tourism policy. The event is expected to bring together stakeholders from the travel, hospitality, and cultural sectors to showcase Telangana’s potential as a leading destination in India.
Officials from the state tourism department confirmed that the conclave will serve as a platform to highlight opportunities in eco tourism, heritage tourism, medical tourism, and emerging segments like adventure and rural tourism. The state government will also present investment friendly measures, including land allotment, incentives, and streamlined approvals to encourage domestic and foreign investors.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has emphasized that the new policy is designed not only to boost tourism revenue but also to generate employment for local communities. The government’s vision is to position Telangana as a global hub for both leisure and business travelers.
The conclave is likely to see participation from top hotel chains, international travel operators, aviation companies, and cultural institutions. Special focus will also be placed on developing iconic heritage sites such as Charminar, Golconda Fort, and the Ramappa Temple into world-class tourist attractions with improved amenities and infrastructure.
With Telangana’s rising profile in IT, pharmaceuticals, and education, officials believe that tourism development will further enhance the state’s global brand. The conclave is expected to conclude with MoUs and investment announcements that could significantly strengthen the sector in the coming years.
