The Telangana government has announced a major relief for parents by allowing School admissions without mandatory documents. Under the new directive, students can now be admitted to any government or private school without presenting Aadhaar card, Birth Certificate or Transfer Certificate (TC).
Admissions Made Hassle Free
The decision aims to ensure that no child is denied education due to lack of paperwork. Officials stated that schools must Enroll students immediately, even if they do not possess identity or age proof documents at the time of admission.
Applicable to All Schools
The rule applies across:
- Government schools
- Private recognised schools
Schools have been instructed to complete documentation later, without stopping or refusing a child’s admission.
Govt Focus on Universal Education
Education authorities emphasized that the policy will help:
- Children from economically weaker backgrounds
- Migrant students
- Orphans and children without formal records
“No child should miss education due to lack of documents,” officials reiterated.
