Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy today called upon the central government to provide financial assistance for key infrastructure projects in the state. Speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad, he highlighted the urgent need to complete initiatives such as the Rejuvenation of the Musi River the Regional Ring Road, and the Extension of the metro rail network.
The CM also announced the upcoming release of the “Telangana Rising 2047” vision document at a global summit scheduled for December 9. The document outlines Telangana’s roadmap to become a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047, aiming to contribute nearly 10% of India’s overall economic growth.
Emphasizing sustainability, Reddy revealed plans to deploy 3,000 electric buses next year in Hyderabad and promote electric vehicle adoption across the state. He also announced the development of a dry port to strengthen logistics and boost economic activity.
“Hyderabad must not only compete with Indian cities but also with global hubs like Singapore, Tokyo and New York,” the CM said, framing Telangana’s growth ambitions on an international scale.
The CM’s speech comes amid ongoing efforts to accelerate infrastructure development and position Telangana as a leading economic and technological hub in India.
