Rein Bazar Police Bust Multi Network Cheating Racket

Hyderabad: In a major crackdown, Rein Bazar Police arrested two individuals running a sophisticated cheating network under the guise of digital marketing. The operation came to light on 24 March 2026 at Ethebar Chowk, Mirchowk, Charminar, following credible intelligence.

The accused, Mohammed Akram (22) and Mohd. Nouman Raza (22), allegedly lured young people and the general public by promising easy income through promotion of Forever Living products. Victims were charged a ₹200 joining fee to create IDs and later induced to invest ₹30,000 for purchasing products, with false assurances of high returns through a multi-level commission system.

Authorities found that the accused operated an office under the name “Achievers Club” in Karmanghat and had recruited nearly 40 members, targeting individuals aged 18-25 via social media promotions. Investigations revealed that commissions were earned on direct recruits and multiple layers beneath them. In many cases, victims neither received the promised products nor refunds, resulting in significant financial losses.

During the raid, police seized a Mercedes Benz, multiple mobile phones, laptops, Apple devices, Forever Living products and records of client data. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the BNS, Telangana Protection of Depositors Act, and the Prize Chits & Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act. The accused have been presented before the Hon’ble Court.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Sri Khare Kiran Prabhakar, IPS, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Charminar Zone, along with Sri Md. Majeed, Addl. DCP, Sri G. Shyam Sunder, ACP, Mirchowk Division, and officers including Sri Ch. Nethaji, Inspector of Police, and Sri Md. Nayeemuddin, DI, supported by staff from Rein Bazar and Mirchowk Police Stations.

This crackdown highlights Hyderabad police’s continued efforts to curb fraudulent digital marketing schemes targeting young citizens.
