My Name is Shaik Amer Arafath, and I belong to Jagtiyal, Telangana. Since childhood, I dreamed of serving my country and making my family proud. It was not an easy journey, but with determination and hard work, I reached where I am today.
When I first started preparing for the Government Job Exams, many people doubted me. They said it was too difficult, some said there will be discrimination against Minority community, while others said you need to have a lot money to get job. But I did not give up. I spent long hours studying, faced many failures, and kept moving forward. When I finally cleared the exam, it felt like all the effort was worth it.
I have selected Sub-Inspector (Proh. & Excise) post to fight against the drugs menace where I could positively impact the lives of our youngsters. Wearing this uniform for the first time was one of the proudest moments of my life.
Facing Stereotypes
I often hear people say that Muslims do not get opportunities in government jobs. I want to say with my own example that this is not true. Religion is never a barrier when you have dedication and discipline. What matters is hard work, consistency, and the will to never give up.
My Message to the Youth
To all young people in Telangana and across India, my message is simple:
- Don’t waste time on Negativity or Doubts.
- Believe in yourself, even when others don’t.
- Focus on your Studies and Goals, and Success will come.
Conclusion:
I am proud to serve as a Sub-Inspector today, but this is only the beginning of my journey. If my story inspires even one person to chase their dreams with courage, then I feel I have truly succeeded.
