Hyderabad: The Department of Management Studies at Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology (LIET) organized an inspiring Orientation Day to welcome the incoming MBA and M.Tech students of the 2025 – 2027 batch. The event marked the beginning of a new academic journey filled with learning, leadership, and innovation.
The ceremony was graced by Chairman Mr. Basha Mohiuddin, Secretary Mrs. Rizwana Begum, Joint Secretary Mr. Syed Tanveer Ahmed, Principal Dr. Ravi Kishore Singh, and Vice Principal Dr. Syed Azam Pasha Qadri. Their presence and words of wisdom set an encouraging tone for the day’s proceedings.
In her welcome address, Secretary Mrs. Rizwana Begum emphasized the transformative power of education and urged students to seize every opportunity that LIET offers to become responsible professionals contributing to the nation’s progress. Joint Secretary Mr. Syed Tanveer Ahmed followed with a motivational talk, highlighting the role of innovation, technology, and entrepreneurial thinking in modern management education.
Principal Dr. Ravi Kishore Singh, in his keynote address, outlined LIET’s vision and mission toward academic excellence, research, and holistic student development. He encouraged students to embrace diversity, develop critical thinking, and pursue innovation driven learning to prepare for global leadership roles.
The Orientation also featured an interactive alumni session, where former students shared real-world experiences and insights from their professional journeys, offering valuable guidance to the new batch. Engaging ice-breaking activities, motivational sessions, and an award ceremony recognizing the achievements of top-performing students from the previous year added to the event’s enthusiasm and inspiration.
Over 120 students attended the program, actively participating in discussions and networking sessions that fostered a sense of belonging to the Lords community.
The event concluded on a high note, with students expressing excitement and gratitude for being part of LIET’s vibrant academic ecosystem. The Orientation Day successfully set the foundation for a journey of growth, excellence, and innovation at the Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing future leaders and changemakers in business and technology.
