Security and Monitoring

Commissioner of Police V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, personally monitored the polling from the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC).

Over 900 CCTV cameras and 150 drones were deployed to provide real time surveillance and situational awareness, ensuring a seamless flow of information between field officers and the control room.

The Hyderabad City Police declared 226 polling stations as critical and implemented multi layered security arrangements with additional forces from the Telangana State Special Police (TSSP) and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).

Law and Order Situation

The day remained peaceful and incident free, with no major law and order problems reported across any of the polling locations.
A few technical glitches in EVMs caused minor delays early in the morning, which were promptly rectified by polling staff. Police also maintained strict traffic control and crowd management measures around sensitive booths.

Commissioner Sajjanar directed all supervisory officers to maintain heightened vigilance until the completion of counting, scheduled for November 14, 2025.

What’s Next

The sealed EVMs have been shifted to strong rooms under multi layered security. Counting of votes for the Jubilee Hills by-poll will be taken up along with the other assembly constituencies on November 14, and results are expected by afternoon.
