Iran Launches New Attacks as Ceasefire Calls Grow

Tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate as Iran launched fresh missile and drone attacks amid its ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel. The latest strikes come as diplomatic efforts increase to prevent the conflict from spreading further across the region.

U.S. President Donald Trump said the war with Iran could end “Very Soon,” stating that military operations have made significant progress toward their objectives.

Meanwhile, Iranian officials confirmed that several countries including China, Russia and France have contacted Tehran urging a ceasefire and calling for diplomatic negotiations.

However, Iran has rejected immediate ceasefire talks, saying negotiations cannot take place while attacks against the country continue. Iranian leaders said any ceasefire discussion would require guarantees that further military strikes will stop.

The conflict intensified after joint military actions by the United States and Israel earlier this year, which were followed by retaliatory missile and drone attacks from Iran.

International leaders are continuing to call for restraint and dialogue as concerns grow about the possibility of a wider regional war in the Middle East.
