The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory in view of the Telangana State Police programme “Arrive Alive – A Campaign for Safer Roads in Telangana” scheduled to be held at Shri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Yousufguda, on 12 January 2026.
A large gathering of the general public, including college students, is expected for the road safety event. Authorities have cautioned that moderate traffic congestion is anticipated in and around the venue due to the movement of participants and their vehicles.
Diversion Routes (2:30 PM to 6 PM)

From Maitrivanam Junction towards Yousufguda Basti, Rahamathnagar, Karmikanagar, Borabanda Bus Stop: Traffic will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti via Krishnakanth Park → GTS Temple → Kalyan Nagar → Mothi Nagar → Borabanda Bus Stop.

From Maitrivanam Junction towards Jubilee Hills Checkpost via Yousufguda Checkpost and Madhapur: Traffic will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti via RBI Quarters → Krishna Nagar Junction → Jubilee Hills Checkpost.

From Jubilee Hills Checkpost and Venkatagiri towards Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Stadium: Traffic will be diverted at Krishna Nagar Junction via Srinagar Colony → Panjagutta.

From Borabanda Bus Stop towards Karmikanagar, Rahamathnagar, Yousufguda Checkpost: Traffic will be diverted at Prime Garden Function Hall, Sri Ram Nagar X Roads via Midland Bakery → GTS Colony → Kalyan Nagar Junction → Vengalraonagar → Umesh Chandra Statue U-Turn → ICICI U-Turn → Maitrivanam Junction.
Parking
For the convenience of participants and the general public, parking facilities will be available at TGSP Battalion Ground, Yousufguda, Hyderabad.
The Hyderabad Traffic Police have requested citizens to plan their travel accordingly, follow the diversions, and cooperate with the authorities to ensure smooth traffic flow during the programme.
