Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar has issued a stern warning against individuals or groups involved in physically assaulting RTC bus drivers, Police personnel or Government employees while they are on duty. He made it clear that such attacks will attract strict legal action, including non-bailable cases.
The Commissioner emphasized that public servants and frontline workers are performing essential duties, and any attempt to disrupt their work or cause harm will not be tolerated. He stated that the police will immediately book violent offenders under serious IPC sections, ensuring no leniency in such cases.
“RTC Bus Drivers, Police Waalon, Government Officials Par Haath Uthaane Waalon Ke Khilaaf Saqt Kaarwayi Hogi,” Sajjanar warned, urging citizens to respect workers who serve the public.
The announcement comes amid rising incidents where officials performing public duties have faced attacks during disputes, road altercations, and crowd management situations.
