Several civilians were injured following air attacks and ground gunfire in different parts of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City, al-Mawasi, and the Bureij refugee camp, amid continued instability despite intermittent ceasefire periods.
Local medical sources reported that Men, Women and Children were among those wounded as projectiles and gunfire struck residential and crowded areas. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals, where doctors said they are struggling to cope due to shortages of medical supplies and staff.
In Gaza City, gunfire and aerial attacks reportedly hit populated neighbourhoods, causing panic among residents. In Al-Mawasi, an area where many displaced families have taken shelter, civilians were wounded during ground firing incidents. Meanwhile, in the Bureij refugee camp, densely populated surroundings increased the risk to non-combatants as violence occurred nearby.
Health officials said that civilian casualties continue to be reported almost daily, raising concerns over the safety of residents and the fragility of ceasefire arrangements. Humanitarian workers have warned that ongoing violence is worsening the already severe humanitarian situation, particularly for Displaced families, Children and the elderly.
Calls for restraint and protection of civilians have intensified, as residents continue to face uncertainty and fear amid the continuing conflict.
