Charminar Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shri Khare Kiran, IPS, held a coordination meeting with members of the Central Peace Committee at Sanjary Convention to ensure the peaceful conduct of upcoming festivals, with special focus on the Holy month of Ramzan.
The meeting centered on preparations for festival related activities, maintenance of communal harmony, and steps to strengthen public safety across the Charminar Zone. Key topics included traffic management plans, crowd regulation, and preventive strategies to curb criminal activities during the festive period.
DCP Khare Kiran emphasized the need for close coordination between community leaders and the police to avoid misunderstandings and to promptly address any law and order issues. He highlighted that public cooperation plays a vital role in ensuring peaceful celebrations and smooth movement of people during peak festival days.
Members of the Central Peace Committee assured the police of their full cooperation in maintaining peace, brotherhood and mutual respect among communities. They also agreed to support awareness efforts related to safety, discipline and compliance with regulations during Ramzan and other festivals.
Police officials said additional measures will be put in place to strengthen patrolling, regulate traffic in busy areas, and keep a close watch on potential trouble spots. The authorities reiterated their commitment to maintaining a safe and harmonious environment for all residents during the festive season.
