BRS MLA Criticises Revanth Reddy Over Hyderabad Metro Decisions

BRS MLA Criticises Revanth Reddy

A BRS MLA has accused Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of taking “Wrong decisions” regarding the expansion and planning of the Hyderabad Metro.

The legislator alleged that recent choices related to new routes and project priorities could affect the efficiency and long term benefits of the metro network. According to the MLA, the government should focus more on public needs, connectivity and proper planning before moving ahead with major changes.

The criticism comes amid ongoing discussions about expanding metro services to more parts of Hyderabad, including suburban and high growth areas. The BRS leader claimed that some of the proposed plans lack clarity and may not serve commuters effectively.

In response, the state government has maintained that its decisions are aimed at improving urban transport and easing traffic congestion in the city. Officials say the metro expansion is being planned with future growth in mind and will benefit a larger section of the population.

The issue has now turned into a political debate, with both sides defending their approach to developing Hyderabad’s transport infrastructure.
