BRS Intensifies Campaign in Jubilee Hills: KTR Leads Door to Door Drive Amid Rising Competition

With the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election just days away, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has intensified its campaign efforts to reclaim the seat. Senior leader and working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) led a massive door to door campaign and street rally in several areas of Jubilee Hills, urging residents to support the BRS for “continuity and stability in development.”

KTR was accompanied by party candidate Naveen Yadav and a large contingent of local BRS workers, who carried out public interactions, emphasizing the government’s welfare programs and urban infrastructure projects implemented during the party’s previous tenure.

KTR Highlights BRS’s Development Vision

During his address, KTR highlighted the BRS’s contributions to Hyderabad’s growth including 24×7 power supply, Mission Bhagiratha water schemes, and Hyderabad Metro expansion.

He said, “BRS transformed Hyderabad into a global city. Our goal is to continue this growth with people’s support. Jubilee Hills deserves a representative who understands urban challenges and youth aspirations.”

He also took aim at the Congress led state government, alleging that several welfare schemes have been halted and that “development momentum has stalled due to political inexperience.”

Local Voter Response

The campaign saw mixed reactions among voters. While many expressed appreciation for the previous BRS administration’s development projects, others raised concerns over local civic issues such as drainage maintenance, traffic congestion, and rising real estate prices.
Despite these challenges, BRS’s strong grassroots presence and focus on women and youth voters appear to be helping consolidate its base.

Rival Parties Step Up Counter Campaigns

Meanwhile, the Congress and BJP are also running active campaigns in Jubilee Hills. Congress is highlighting its welfare promises under the “Six Guarantees” initiative, while BJP leaders are focusing on corruption allegations and public dissatisfaction during the BRS regime.

The Election Commission has directed all parties to adhere strictly to the Model Code of Conduct and ensure that rallies and processions are conducted peacefully.

Security and Public Arrangements

Hyderabad police have stepped up security in the constituency, deploying additional personnel for traffic management and crowd control during campaign events. Officials have also warned against fake news or misinformation campaigns on social media platforms ahead of polling.

Public Sentiment and Outlook

As the election date nears, Jubilee Hills has become a political hotspot, with residents witnessing rallies, public meetings, and digital outreach by all major parties.

Political analysts say that the seat known for its high profile electorate and urban diversity could set the tone for upcoming civic and state elections.
