New Delhi, July 6, 2025 — Eternal (formerly Zomato) has appointed Aditya Mangla as the new CEO of its food ordering and delivery division for a two-year term, effective July 6. He succeeds Rakesh Ranjan, who has successfully completed his tenure and will step down as a Senior Management Personnel on the same date.
Mangla, who joined Eternal in March 2021, currently serves as the Head of Product for the food delivery segment. Over the years, he has led critical functions such as Supply Management and Customer Experience, playing a key role in streamlining restaurant partner operations and enhancing digital customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining Eternal, Mangla held leadership roles in product, marketing, and P&L at several startups and tech companies.
In an internal note, Eternal CEO Deepinder Goyal remarked,
“This isn’t just a change of roles — it’s a signal for the kind of leadership we need in our next chapter. Aditya has shown humility, systemic thinking, and action-driven instincts — traits essential for our growth.”
Goyal also extended appreciation to Rakesh Ranjan for his contribution, saying,
“Rakesh has done a remarkable job stabilising the business and building a culture of execution. We’re deeply grateful for his leadership.”
This leadership transition comes as Eternal looks to enter a new phase of growth and innovation in India’s dynamic food delivery landscape.
